Emily Panek
I’m a visual designer with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts (BFA) from George Mason University, driven by a love for clear communication and thoughtful creativity. My interest in design started early—experimenting with photography on family trips sparked my eye for composition, and a summer program at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) opened the door to the world of graphic design.
Since then, I’ve been passionate about bringing ideas to life through visuals. I’m especially drawn to structure—both in how things look and how they’re built—and I enjoy exploring different approaches to find what works best. I thrive on experimenting with fresh ideas and diverse methodologies—whether it’s crafting brand identities, conceptualizing UX flows, or developing motion graphics. I’m a persistent problem-solver who values listening and collaboration, because the best ideas often come from fresh perspectives. Listening closely to clients, users, and collaborators helps me gain new perspectives that sharpen my creative thinking and refine my outcomes.
Above all, I care deeply about the work I do and the people I work with. I'm dedicated, curious, and always excited to keep growing as a designer.
